Dr Kym Buttsworth

Dr Kym Buttsworth has been delivering primary care services to the communities of Kinross and Currambine for 20 years. He has an interest in aged care. He is committed to medical education and is an accredited WAGPET GP supervisor.

Dr Mariette Smit

MBCHB (Stell), FRACGP

Female GP

Marriette Smit studied medicine at the University of Stellenbosch in South Africa. She then gained experience in hospital and rural medicine, followed by work as a forensic medical officer. She relocated to Australia in 2002 and worked full time delivering primary care services to the community of Gingin for sixteen years.

Her special interests include: aged care, women's health, minor surgery and mental health. She is also an examiner for the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.

Dr Jennifer Cornell

FRACGP, FRNZCGP, ABIMH, MD

Female GP

Dr Jenna received her medical education in the United States and is a Board Certified Holistic and Family Doctor. She is also a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand Colleges of General Practitioners. Dr Jenna has enjoyed a rich life during her over 35 years in medicine with a wide range of experiences working in private practice, emergency medicine and indigenous health. She has worked with indigenous people from the bottom of the Grand Canyon to the Islands of Alaska, New Zealand and Australia. She was blessed to learn traditional healing from the indigenous healers of these tribes and has combined this wisdom with her western medical training. Her indigenous wisdom combined with her holistic training allows her to integrate a variety of healing traditions.

Dr Bishoy Boutrus

Dr Boutrus qualified as a medical doctor after completing a Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Notre Dame in Fremantle in 2022. He has worked across multiple hospitals in Western Australia, gaining extensive exposure to acute and chronic medicine, procedural care, and a broad range of clinical environments.

Before entering medicine, he worked as an AHPRA-registered physiotherapist, giving him a valuable foundation in musculoskeletal assessment, rehabilitation, and patient-centred care that continues to inform his holistic approach as a doctor.

Clinical interests include:

  • Chronic disease management
  • Men’s health
  • Musculoskeletal and sports medicine
  • Preventative health care

Outside of work, Dr Boutrus enjoys going to the gym, watching and playing soccer. He is involved in the local community, as a parent of three children attending nearby schools and a a volunteer coach for his son’s soccer team, he is committed to strengthening community connections, which he believes are central to effective primary care.

Dr Jordan Fitz-Gerald

Dr Jordan grew up in the Whitsundays/Victoria and completed her Doctor of Medicine at University of Western Australia in 2018. She has worked in critical care, trauma and emergency departments at various major hospitals in Melbourne, Perth and Townsville. She is now working towards completing her fellowship in General Practice with RACGP.

She enjoys the variety of General Practice, but has a particular interest in Women’s Health, Paediatrics and Emergency Medicine.

Dr Salwa Uzair

Dr Salwa Uzair graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) and successfully completed her Australian Medical Council (AMC) qualifications in early 2024. She brings an extensive background in hospital-based medicine to the practice, having gained diverse clinical experience across major healthcare networks both internationally and locally within Western Australia. Her recent hospital rotations include comprehensive work in emergency medicine, plastic surgery, and paediatrics at Joondalup Health Campus, alongside dedicated time as a medical registrar within sub-acute rehabilitation and geriatric units at St John of God Hospital.

Dr Uzair has particular clinical interests in women’s health, aged care (geriatric medicine), and children’s health. Her technical skills span a broad range of minor procedural care, and she values clear, empathetic communication when supporting patients through all stages of life.

Outside of her clinical practice, Dr Uzair is a proud Australian citizen who enjoys travelling, exploring new cultures, and spending quality time with her husband and family.
