Travel vaccinations & current medical advice are available at Hobsons Gate Medical Centre.
We provide up-to date medical advice & information for overseas travel to all countries.

Our practice has a dedicated Travel Vaccination Clinic led by Dr Deidre McAlpine.
Dr McAlpine is our resident ‘travel doctor’ whom has completed a post graduate certificate at James Cook University, Townsville.

How To Book

Appointments are essential for travel vaccinations and travel consultations. Book online via Health Engine – select ‘Travel Appointment’ or please call us on (08) 9305 5999 to book.
Please inform the receptionist you require a travel related appointment.

What To Bring

If you require a yellow fever vaccine, you must bring your passport to enable a International Certificate of Vaccination or Prophylaxis to be issued. 

Payment

Travel vaccines are not covered by Medicare. All accounts must be settled on the date of consult.

Pre-Payment for travel vaccinations is practice policy, we accept EFTPOS & cash payments.

Referrals 

We accept all referrals/ patients for Travel Health, we will refer patients back to their usual GP with the following information:

  • Vaccination/s administered
  • Booster vaccination advice
  • Any treatments provided
