Q: How will I know if I have to come back for results?
A: To continue ongoing care it is highly recommended that you return for your results. However if the Doctor would like to see you with regards to your results they will send you a recall letter.

Q: What if I feel unwell and you are not open?
A: Hobsons Gate Medical Centre have extended opening hours to accommodate their patient’s.   They also provide a 24 hour care by providing a locum service WADAMS.  You can contact them on 9321 9133 or visit their website at www.wadms.org.au
Q: How much will I be charged for my consult?
A: If you are a Health Care/Concession Card holder under 16 years of age or 65 years and over you will be bulk billed.
Fees apply if you do not fit these criteria.

A standard consult for one medical issue will cost $70. Medicare pays a rebate of $37.60 (an out of pocket payment of $32.40).

For a longer consult (i.e. multiple issues to discuss, > 20 minutes) is a fee of $106.00. A Medicare rebate of $72.80 is available. (an out of pocket payment of $34.85)

Q: Can I claim my rebate from Medicare at your Practice?
A: Yes. Just provide us with your Bank name, BSB and Account number.

Please tell us before you pay that you have registered with Medicare for your refund.  You will receive your rebate within 2 business working days, if not sooner.

Q: How do I apply for an ACROD Parking Permit?
A: The ACROD Parking Permit is administered through the National Disability Services WA. Eligibility is assessed by a medical practitioner or occupational therapist (OT). Application forms can be downloaded from www.nds.org.au/wa
